The Past Few Days

Or maybe it should be titled “The Aftermath!”  My kidS (making sure to emphasize the plural) have really enjoyed Caleb’s birthday.  They have spent the last few days totally engrossed in Caleb’s birthday presents.  I love it!  It has given me loads of free time.  Have I spent it all wisely?  Heck no, which makes me love it even more!

jessica - I love the one where he’s sticking his tongue out of his mouth. I chuckled at that one.

Valarie - LOVE the picture of the reflection! so creative.
did Kevin tell you I saw him at Good Will on Black Saturday?

Caleb: Three Year Pictures

Well, it’s official, he’s no longer a two year old.  That means the worst is behind us, right?

This ball of fire came into our lives, taking us all by surprise.  A happy surprise, mind you.  We always say he is all boy and that’s sometimes the only way to describe him.  He likes to run and wrestle and boy howdy, he likes to move.  He loves to smile and if he could he would probably eat Coco Puffs at every meal.  He has been a joy in our lives and I love my “Tayleb”.

Happy Birthday little man!

becci ames - Photos are great! I especially love the triptych. Very cute.
Also, love love love your water mark and think you should use that for your logo. Very cool!

Angella - Cute little buggy!

Today was the day for dance class and we made it there on time, sorta.  I realized when we were 3 minutes away that I had forgotten Lydia’s dance shoes!  Grrrrr.  I dropped Lydia off and gave her specific instructions to tell Miss Leann that I forgot her shoes and I was going back home to get them.  And of course this is the ONE DAY that people in Colorado decide to actually go the speed limit and not 5 miles over like usual.  20 minutes later, Lydia has her dance shoes and from now on they are staying in the car.

Shannon is another one of my regular models and yes she is another one (of 4) of my beautiful sisters.  I don’t know if she knows this but she’s only allowed to model for me.  Got that Shannon?

becci ames - love all of these!

I woke up this morning to a mild panic attack.  I came out of the room thinking Kevin’s gonna be late for school! We’re gonna be late for dance class! Why wouldn’t Kevin wake me up?

Walking into the living room I noticed that no one else was in a tizzy about the time.  I looked at Kevin who was sitting quietly at the computer and asked “Don’t you have to be at school?”  He looked at me with an ever widening grin and said “It’s Sunday.”

Yes, yes, yes, we can all have a good laugh at my expense.  But you won’t be laughing when you scroll down and see the stunning beauty, who happens to be my sister and who you may recognize already.  So, enjoy!

101 in 1001

September 3, 2010 – May 31, 2013

Writing down goals make them more attainable, at least that’s what I’ve heard.  If that is true then I’m sure that tracking them increases that attainability even more.  I was recently reading one of the MANY blogs that I stalk, many being an understatement, and ran across this challenge.  Write down 101 goals that you want to accomplish in 1001 days.

My interest was peaked and I thought, “What the hay!”  I’ve got goals out the wazoo that I need to reach and I’m sure it’s way more than 101.
